You have a nice, simple way of describing it.

You do know, however, that genetics is not that simple. There are people with xxy chromosomes, xyy, and other, more subtle variations.

Although the human genome has been “mapped”, as of yet, we have only a very limited understanding of the intricacies of how it all works.

It’s nice, comforting, to have the question of sex and gender worked out to a logical equation, with relatively few variations, but I submit that the intricacies and vagaries of sex and gender will prove to be orders of magnitude more complicated than we can, at present, imagine…

The only question I have for a person who is discovering their place in society is, “What way can you live that will allow you to be a happy, stable, useful human being?”

Bye y'all. it's been real. I have a new Chromebook, but I prefer to write these little "aside" pieces on my phone, curled up in my comfy chair. always love; w
