When I read the title I thought, "back in the 80s and 90s, in San Diego, we just called each other, and ourselves, "Queer"! What's wrong with that?"
I'm 63, living in NC now. I suppose it depends on who you ask whether I'm the "L",(my preference), the, "T"(or, "previously T"?), or because I had sex with some men, a very long time ago, "B"?
To be honest, I'm like you and the celebrity you quoted, I'm just "Queer AF", as the kids put it these days.lol!
