When I “came out”, nearly 30 years ago, we were all “Queer”. We announced it proudly, “Never fear, we’re here and we’re Queer!”
That was in southern California…
I now live in Greenville NC.
I have to judge carefully, before I tell someone that I’m a trans-woman.
I, too, long to be QUEER, again, plain and simple. Not like the uptight, stick-in-the-ass, “normal” people…
Alas, change is the only constant. We adapt, sister, (but we’re still queer at heart 😎)
