I started with an older sister who was a malignant narcissist,(still is, in her late 60s).

Later in life I seemed to go from one narcissist to the next…

Apon finally getting sober and clean in 2018, I’ve been finding my way to a new understanding of myself, other people, and life in general. I’m getting closer to feeling comfortable with my place in the whole mess😉

Thanks to your writing here on Medium, several therapists over decades, and the teachings of buddhist nuns and monks, I’m finally growing past, out of that old place I used to exist in.

The best part is that it only took 62 years!😁

These days, though not finished growing, I’m as happy as if I had good sense 🙂

PS; I’ve found that the “flip-side" of that kind of trauma is that, 'no one knows kindness like those who have suffered the most’.
