I don’t often respond to trolls, but when I do I try to make it clear and decisive, inarguable.

Then I ignore any further nonsense from them. I give them a name or two of buddhist teachers on YouTube. It’s up to them to want to grow as a person.

You are, of course, perfectly correct. Engaging with them is playing their game. Nothing good ever comes of it.
