Well done Jess. Thank you 😊.

I’m, at my core, a reductionist, like most people, I like to “boil things down” to the root cause.

I see the division of the American people as a disfunction concerning a disparity of the handling of, and motivation behind, fear.

Fear is the most basic and influential emotion of all life, including homosapiens. Compassion requires a beginning in the other “true” emotion, Love. Loving, to some degree, all others, the fear of harm to humanity,(which includes, but is not limited to self and family/friends),can result in a fight-or-flight response. A surge of adrenaline and a primal call to action ensue. The “fight” response.

Selfishness, a complete lack of compassion, is a result of a much more serious condition, usually the result of extreme emotional trauma…most often occuring in childhood. The selfish person, narcissistic or even sociopathic, has adapted themselves to an extreme survival strategy…survive at all costs…nothing else matters, only self. This seems to be a controlled form of hysteria.

Just returned from the powder room. I’ve been sleepless again. Apparently I’m getting old and I’m rambling aimlessly.

I’ll spare you any more of my random anal-ysis😉

Be safe Jess 💖🙏🏼💜🙏
