Well done, however I think that you see connections and conclusions where others, not in the field, don't.
I would suggest explaining it as if to 12 year old.
I know that seems like patronizing and talking down to your readers, but you won't have many readers if they don't follow what you're talking about.
You need to, first, educate them.
