I transitioned in 1993. It’s been years, but about two or three years ago I had to “out” myself, simply for my own self-esteem, in support of my trans-sisters.

Still, I really only talk about it online…

My friends and acquaintances never mention it. I’m just “Louise”… or “Weezie”.

It takes time, often a long time…just a fact.
