Unexpected word-vomit to some FB friends

I was 34 when I gathered the courage to transition, in San Diego, not North Carolina 😳🙄. I was treated like a woman most of the time anyway, by people who spent a lot of time with me, family, work, USNavy... even got raped...🤭😪. My body soaked up estrogens like a sponge. I never needed facial feminization surgery or implants or any of that stuff....it was obviously "meant to be"... but we all know how cruel people can be... even if I know that they are reacting to deep fears within themselves, it still hurts, doesn’t it?
