That’s why I outed myself at an AA speaker meeting. I told my story, my transition, in the hope that some trans-people who are still drinking/other drugging themselves could have the courage to come in from the cold…

So far, I haven’t had an alcoholic trans person come to me for help, *that I’m aware of*…

One of my cis-woman friends hinted that I shouldn’t share about my “past”. Apparently, she’s more comfortable with me being “stealth”.

I’ll share my full story, when I’m asked to be the speaker, but not between, in the regular meetings, maybe never again…we’ll see…
