At 62, I have lived half of my life as a cis-man, half of my life as a trans-woman. In recent months I’ve cut all of my hair off, and mostly wear jeans and a t-shirt. I still use Red Door perfume,(very sparingly), because I simply like it.

Though I easily could, I haven’t changed my voice back to the old baritone. After about 30 years, my voice is just my voice,(besides, some people would think that I was 'possessed' 🙄).

I did the old voice for a woman who was trying to take me hostage once. She had said that it wouldn’t bother her….then I did it…lower baritone…

She put her head down, looked at the floor for a while, quietly said, “Don’t do that again.” I said, “Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable too.”
