I responded to a response earlier today. The young woman said that I couldn't have gone through hard enough puberty to make me a real woman.(not verbatim, my interpretation).
I informed her that being a naturally feminine male child is it's own special kind of hell. Misogyny, sexual harassment and assault are excused as "teaching the boy a lesson!"(then they laugh). They are saying with actions, "We'll just embarrass and frighten this little f@#$ot so much that he'll react with 'proper' manly rage. Then we'll pat him on the back and congratulate him!
It goes on and on, but I'll just save it for an essay.
So... not, exactly, the same puberty experience?
I guess that misogyny, sexual harassment and sexual assault is somehow different, depending on your sex assignment at birth?
I've gone on much too long....
