I’m a trans-woman who transitioned in 1993. I was “passing”, having learned counter-tenor to make even my voice “undetectable”, by 1995…

I’ve suffered all of the “slings and arrows” of misogyny and rape culture that every woman is all too familiar with,(#metoo), and even I am uncomfortable around a trans-woman who is not “passing”.

I’m not horrified by what Rowling has written, but I, also a rape and abuse survivor, agree with you, completely.
