Love it!
I’ve dissected the Patriarchal Dominance Hierarchy and railed against rape-culture.
At other times I have described myself as a very sensual person, not sex-crazed, but always with a sensual approach to life, naturally, feeling my own sensuality, but not in a burlesque sense, just every day feeling, myself and my experience of other people.
That “vibe” is often mistaken for a certain sexual wantonness.
Owning our sensuality and reserving it’s subtle power for ourselves, as a continuous state of, of, I guess power, of a sort…is a n idea that I think I was, falteringly arriving at on my own.
After a successful career as an independent call girl in the 90s, I view men as a chore, at best, a means to an end.
Thank you for a wonderful essay.
