I’ve gone through the rapes that have been done to me with two therapists, one friend, and a couple of authors here, on Medium.

It’s helped a great deal. Twenty two years ago I was deemed “totally and permanently disabled, unemployable”, by the SSA. I’m a hundred times better now, but I still have to maintain my emotional health in all of the ways that I have learned about, or I’ll slip, spiral down into depression and anxiety…

I try to help others with similar trauma, in the drug and alcohol recovery “arena”. Helping others is amazingly restorative…

You are absolutely correct in stating that we have to revisit it and go through it, with the help of an objective and knowledgeable person.

Keeping it stuffed, deep in the recesses of my mind, nearly cost me my life. It’s extremely painful to re-experience,but necessary.

I think that you are very courageous. You’re on the right path. You are going to be okay. None of it was your fault.

Peace Love Kindness Respect the more you give the more you get 😍 start with yourself 😉 because you deserve it ❤️🙏🏼
