I’ve felt that panic.

I’m a trans-woman who transitioned in 1993, in San Diego. I now live in Greenville NC. Moved here apon retirement for the low cost of living. It’s my long-ago homeland.

I was “passing” within two years of beginning transition, but the anxiety of using a public bathroom didn’t just disappear.

Nevertheless, I’ve never had any problems. With 34 years of experience in pretending to be an average, red-blooded male, I’m good at faking, projecting, confidence and a total lack of fear, regardless of the twisting of my insides.

Please know that you are not alone. I feel you brother.❤️🙏🏼
