It takes a lot of courage, particularly considering the potential reactions of those whom you love. Then, of course, there’re the difficulties of navigating life, until you are “passing” and the further difficulties, though relatively few, even after that time.

It’s not an easy road, but then very few are…

People like us are simply compelled by such a deep need, that we must eventually come to the conclusion that those who truly love us, though they may be dismayed for a time, will see that we really have no choice.

Those people will learn to be accepting, often even supportive, once we’ve shown them, beyond any doubt, that it’s what we need to do to love ourselves.

Anyone who truly loves me wants me to be able to love myself 💗
