I’m enjoying following your journey Oak 🤠

Back in “the day”, I had a few people ask me if I was FtoM, or MtoF, after I mentioned that I was trans. That, of course, was in San Diego in the 90s.

In North Carolina for the last 22 years or so, it doesn’t come up. They go by my voice, always recognizing me as female.

The joke’s on them. They don’t know that, given a minute to loosen my larynx, I can still do a rumbling baritone.

Update; I tried to do the baritone…couldn’t quite get there. My friend said, “You sound like a woman who’s trying to sound like a man.” 😂
