I’m a North Carolina native. Although I have lived in other countries, other states, California residence being the longest, aside from “Nof Cakalaki”, I do, fairly often, call people,(men, women and indeterminate), “honey”, and, sometimes “baby”.

I mean no disrespect of any kind. It’s just an acknowledgement that I love people and I love you, until you give me a reason not to.

When you say something ugly, out of ignorance, I might smile, and say, “Well, bless your heart!” 😁
