I was born in 1958. I knew that I was a girl from even before I was a toddler.
My life ended up being composed of copious quantities of alcohol and drugs, punctuated by suicide attempts.
I am incredibly blessed, and grateful, just to be alive, not to mention sober and clean.
I know that supporting your transgender child is very, very difficult. I know from experience how much harder it is being transgender.
You are a fabulously wonderful mother and person. Iβm so proud of you I could burst!
