I sympathize…

I got tired of being angry, it’s not a pleasant feeling.

Having said that, I am in a position to stop fighting. I’m 61 years old, divorced 25 years ago, retired, and just sitting here, “collecting checks”. My daughter likes living in San Diego, and doesn’t need my help.

At this point, looking back, I can see that every election I’ve ever voted in was only a chance to help choose the lesser of two evils.

Anyone who rises to the level of being a presidential candidate, whether or not they wanted to, has made many compromises on their honesty, their core principles. Anyone at that level of politics has, compelled by the very nature of our political system, made many “deals with the devil”.

PS; personally, I would remove the “almost”.😉. But I’m not mad about it, it’s just the way it is…being angry only hurts me, and has no effect on the “powers that be”.
