I sympathize. I transitioned 27 years ago. I understand the modern opinion of many, that we should be accepted, regardless of voice. That would be great, but I knew that I have to live life as it is, not as I would like it to be, as it ought to be… life is what it is. People are the way they are. I can’t change it. I can only change myself.

No one has called me, “sir”, in 25 years. My,(cis), girlfriends, have all said, at some point, “Louise! I can’t possibly imagine you as a man!”
