I suppose it’s my age, but I, personally, 'identify’, as a woman. In my mind, I was born with a very nearly fatal birth-defect, a perfectly functional male body.

Having been born in 1958, in the US, I do, and probably always will have a default-understanding of gender as binary.

I do understand the points that Ella was making and have no problem with it. I understand it, even if I don’t feel it myself.
