I suggest that you and others like you who are panicked by this phenomenon might like to discuss it with a mental health professional or spiritual teacher...
It's one thing to disagree, and quite another to be so frightened that a rant ensues.
Societal trends come and go, the deep wounds of trauma can last a lifetime.
For me, the path to a lighter heart and an open mind was found in Buddhism, as taught by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn, Pema Chodron and Venerable Thubten Chodron on YouTube.
I can't control what other people do or think, and it's not my job to try.
I can only present my view in a calm and rational manner. The decision on what to do with it is theirs.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with this. I sympathize with you, but urge you to take steps to calm yourself before you cause yourself harm or harm others.
