I must also admit to an initial reaction of, “good”, “hahaha”…but as I saw that reaction expressed all over my Facebook feed and in almost every group I’m a member of, my happiness began to sour.

I fell back to my default position on the death-penalty, ie; revenge is fleetingly sweet and quickly becomes bitter.

Taking my fear, outrage, anger, resentment and turning it to causing or condoning, or worse yet, celebrating, the misery or death of any other living creature…simply perpetuates the initial problem…. projecting anger and violence on others for the temporary relief from my own fear.

That whole “strategy”is only feeding the fear, mistrust and anger that started the never ending cycle that seems to have been continuous since the beginnings of the Patriarchal Dominance Hierarchy.

If I’m always struggling against the Patriarchy, I should be especially wary of unwittingly perpetuating it.

Removing the “bad actor” from the position where he can continue to cause harm should be enough. Problem solved, along with saving my soul.

Oh well, back to Untamed 😉
