I know how important is was to me to be addressed properly when I first transitioned. I try to address others in the way that they wish.

Our society is in a transitional phase. Transitions are always hard.

I don’t think that there is an easy or simple answer. That’s just life. We try to be as kind and respectful as possible. That’s all that we, as individuals, can do.

There always have been, and always will be, people who are slaves to every little fear that they have. They lash out in a variety of ways, large and small.

We learn to be, and struggle to remain, resilient, supporting each other at every opportunity…. that’s all that’s humanly possible.

It has to be enough. It’s what we have.
