I am who I am now, right this moment, and always have been.

Trying to live as my assigned gender only led to misery, suicidal depression, and drug and alcohol abuse.

Nature or nurture? Irrelevant.

The only relevant question is, “what do I do now, beginning in this moment, to be happy, well adjusted, and useful to others and society as a whole?”

For me, it was transition, in 1993.

Simple. At least to me it is. The only things that make it complicated, agonizing, are family, 'friends’, and our Patriarchal Dominance Hierarchy and it’s attendant gender binary and hetero-normative sexuality dictate.

And let us never forget rape-culture.

PS; the same goes for my being an alcoholic, too. A recovering alcoholic, since September 21,2018.

Thank you Jack.
