I am a member of, and often 'chair’(lead), a women’s 12 step meeting, in eastern N.C. I am a 60 year old trans-woman. I know that quite a few of the others are aware that I’m trans. I assume that they all do, though in other meetings, people are often suprised to find it out. They shy away, at first. Then, after they speak with others, and observe for a little while…they get over it, and we are close again… People, male or female, are individuals, and must be taken with that in mind. My sponsor is a ciswoman of color,(I am caucasian). She was put off a bit, at first, now we are close. I suggest that everyone just take a few deeep breaths, and relax…😍😘😇
