Hilarious!

You should hear some of the stories in women’s meetings! “I never got a dwi, I didn’t lose my house, but I almost lost my job, once, I think”.

I told my story at the last speaker meeting, earlier this week. I didn’t spare them any details, accidents that I wasn’t expected to survive, suicide attempts, loss of money, property, family, prostitution, stays in rehab facilities that I don’t remember the year, name or location of, mental institutions, jails and prison,(twice). And…of course…that I’m a transgender woman!

The looks on the wine-drinker’s faces was absolutely prrrecious! The other old drunks were laughing their asses off!

Guess I “qualify” too…
