I was a man for the first 34 years of my life. I must say that there were many fewer demands of me.

As a woman, for the last 27 years or so, I find that, in the company of men who are having a conversation, my voice becomes somehow un-audible. It’s as if I didn’t even exist 😂

When they refuse to even notice that I’m trying to walk through the area that they are blocking, I just put my hands together and “wedge” them apart. One or both invariably says, “Oh! I’m sorry. I didn’t see you there, (laughing sort of smile).”(I’m 5’11" tall, with white hair).

Ah well…
