The biggest gap, for me, has been twenty one years.😇😎

That was the 40 y/o man I wrote about in “Wow! I didn’t realize how much I needed that!”

He made good money, and was in the process of renting a house, moving out of the Oxford House,(recovery house), that he was living in.

The problem was not only that he told me about it, showed me pics on his phone, and plainly wanted me to *ask* him if I could join him. That was only a small part of my reason for dropping him.

Although he was hiding it from me, at first, he had relapsed. He was using crack, and I think, crystal meth…😥

I hope that he will eventually get clean and sober, if not for himself, for his precious two small children.

His divorce was final. I think that that may have been his objective for getting clean. He wanted the best outcome possible in the divorce. After that, he was determined to do as he pleased.

Poor fella 😢.

That’s just the way it goes, with real alcoholics/drug addicts… they keep going until they’re done…or dead.
