I drank for 45 years. The last 10 years or so was when I didn’t just “hit” bottom, I dragged along the bottom…

I lost everything.

A month before my 60th birthday, I had finally had enough. Though I had been to many rehabs over the years, many meetings, I hadn’t been truly done, didn’t really want to stop.

It warms my heart to no end to keep seeing younger people who get sober before old age looms before them. As you know, many, some say “most”, die drunk and alone.

As of today, I am 603, individual, days sober and clean.
