Change Is Inevitable
I’ve been watching the people on YouTube and other places fighting, arguing, obviously upset about the “new" transgender phenomenon.
It’s really pretty foolish, if you think about it. Step back and take the long view.
Anyone who has studied history in any real depth, beyond the recitations of standard grade school books, will have to agree that people change, society changes, and humanity evolves socially as well as physically.
Social evolution happens on a much shorter time scale, quickly enough for one generation of humanity to take notice of significant changes.
For the people who have come to deeply depend on certainty in all or most things,(the less intelligent and/or intellectually lazy), these changes, when they become obvious, can be very frightening, very frightening indeed. It may seem like the whole world has gone completely insane, 'upside down’, as it were.
The “tribe” that they have always felt a part of, have taken comfort, shelter, in, is threatened by change. The certainty that they have so relied on, their 'place' in the scheme of things is becoming shaky.
When one is shocked, frightened to the foundation of their perception of reality, they often instantly feel existentially threatened and the fight-or-flight reaction of the limbic system takes them over. Adrenaline and…
