Beautiful, Phoenix. πŸ’–πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ™πŸ¦„

Having been born in 1958, I had a somewhat different experience, but not as bad as one might think.

My mother never showed any anger, scorn, contempt or cruelty, as I’ve heard others describe. Seems I was lucky. She was only worried about the ill treatment she could imagine me getting from others. I was blessed with a wonderful example of unconditional love, total devotion.

I was the only one of her children who recognized it. My older sisters were not so appreciative. They were myself and Mama’s crosses to bear, so to speak.

But that’s behind me.

I’ve heard some pretty surprising confessions myself, particularly after years in the alcohol and drug recovery community, but those were confidential discussions.

Mama once told me that she wished that she was a boy when she was young, but having been born in 1924…well.

I must say that I really enjoy your work. You have a definite talent for writing. I’m much better at reading ☺️.

You are definitely going to be a success. You are amazing!

Bye y'all. it's been real. I have a new Chromebook, but I prefer to write these little "aside" pieces on my phone, curled up in my comfy chair. always love; w
