At 5’11", and 41/38/41, I am always self-conscious about the middle number. Twenty five years ago it was 28. Alas, I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it. Having never been ashamed of my appearance, either as a male bodied person, or a female bodied person, I can sympathize with your feelings, but only in understanding the effects of shame/ self-consciousness. I’m so sorry to hear that you had that kind of self perception programmed into you, as a child. I hope that you are able to come to terms with it.
