After having lived as a woman for 25 years, experiencing all of the indignities that our society deals out to women, and learning,(the hard way), to always be suspicious of men who are an unknown quantity, I can see both sides of the issue.

What I can not “see”, is any human being being treated the way that so many trans people are treated.

If trans people were cute, little puppies and kittens, the ASPCA would be “stringing people up”.

Treating other, precious, loving human beings as less deserving than non-human lives is despicable, in fact, it’s brutish and *inhuman*.

Let me reassure you that I love puppies and kittens, just making a point…

I suppose that it’s true, that we all have the potential for evil, just witness the inhuman lengths that the self-righteous will go to, to act out their reactions to irrational fears and insecurities…

Fear, and the ignorance that leads to it, is the sickness. Love, and education are the cure.
